Our project, AdviseAlberta, started from noticing how difficult it can be for high school students to figure out which post-secondary program is right for them in Alberta. Right now, students have to jump between multiple websites to find information about programs, deadlines, requirements, and schools. There’s no single place that brings everything together. AdviseAlberta aims to be that central hub where all Alberta post-secondary information is in one place. Students—both local and international—can easily find programs that suit them, compare options, and make informed decisions about their future.

The goal of AdviseAlberta is to make exploring Alberta post-secondary schools simple, interactive, and student-friendly. Students will be able to find programs, compare schools, and get the information they need without having to search all over the place. Ultimately, AdviseAlberta will help students feel confident about their choices and position Alberta as a top destination for post-secondary education. Our project will help future students for years to come.

We believe that choosing a post-secondary path is one of the most defining and sensitive moments in a person’s life—often filled with uncertainty, pressure, and overwhelming amounts of information. Our purpose is to guide students through this transition with clarity, empathy, and intention by creating a platform that transforms confusion into confidence. Through an experience that is intuitive, reliable, and easy to navigate, we strive to reduce the stress associated with researching programs and empower students to make informed decisions about their future. At the same time, we are committed to elevating Alberta as a first choice for students by making its educational opportunities more visible, accessible, and compelling. We exist not only to organize information, but to support individuals at a pivotal crossroads, ensuring they feel prepared, confident, and inspired as they take their next step forward. Advise Alberta will work to accomplish this.
